Daily Update:

We're keeping a close eye on the weather forecast here at Sugarloaf and keeping our fingers crossed for some colder temps early next week. It looks like we're in for a rainy one here today and temps in the upper 40s over the weekend, but the forecast is showing a chance for some colder temps and flurries by next Tuesday. Snowmakers are ready to pounce as soon as temps cooperate, and we'll keep you updated with any news right here. For even more updates be sure to check out the Sugarloaf Online Community and follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Each of these pages is updated throughout the day everyday for all the Sugarloaf info you can handle.

Our Opening Day plans are still somewhat up in the air while we wait to see what Mother Nature has in store for us. Our goal is to be making turns for Thanksgiving, so stay tuned.

In case you haven't heard, there are a couple of new snow reporters on the block.  They've already started to add their own voice to the snow report and snow phone, and just recently launched a brand new Snow Reporter Blog.  Kari and Andrew will be posting new blogs and videos every Thursday about all the cool things that are happening here on the mountain.  Check out this week's blog for a little background on the newest member of our Snow Reporting team.

While we're waiting for the cold to return, it's a good time to tell you more about our new and improved Frequent Skier Card. If you plan to ski at least two days this year, but not quite enough to justify a season's pass, then this is for you. The card includes one free day of skiing and a savings of $15-$25 per lift ticket throughout the season. You'll come out ahead in as little as two days, and best of all you can buy yours online now.

We also recently launched a new Christmas promotion this week, called "Christmas on Us" - a great deal for anyone planning a Christmas getaway. Just book a package for four or more nights over December 25, and your lodging on Christmas night is free.

More exciting stuff:
 - For the very latest updates on snow conditions this winter, check out our new Twitter account, @SugarloafSnow. We'll be posting updates on snow conditions and lift status throughout the day, every day.

 - Sugarloaf's very own Seth Wescott is gearing up to defend his gold medal in the upcoming Vancouver Olympics, and he just took second place in the season's first World Cup and Olympic Qualifier, putting him is great position to make the US Olympic team. He's keeping us updated on all of the action in his very own Sugarloaf Blog.
