Haywire

The home of the huge, the gigantic, the immense, the gargantuan – you get the idea. If you’re looking to go big, Haywire is your hangout. We’ve improved snowmaking in here and come mid-winter you’ll find a rugged jump line and our biggest rails.

Stomping Grounds

After a complete redesign in 2008/09, Sidewinder is back for 09/10, and you can expect more creative setups than you've seen here before. We’ve widened this bad boy up, taken out some sketchy corners, and made it the new home for intermediate freestylers. If you’re way beyond the beginner park, but still get queasy thinking about those big booters in Haywire, the Stomping Grounds is for you.

Sidewinder

Located underneath the SuperQuad, Sidewinder is Sugarloaf’s permanant snowboardcross/skiercross course. Designed by Sugarloaf’s own Snowboardcross gold medalist Seth Wescott, Sidewinder is the place to test your chops in this rapidly growing sport. Watch for Seth in Sidewinder this season as he trains for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

Pipe Dreams Superpipe

After a complete redesign in 2008/09 we've added a brand new snowmaking line for 09/10, which means we'll be able to build the Superpipe faster than we ever have before. Look for the highest quality halfpipe that Sugarloaf has ever had with all the same big-time specs – 400 feet long, 18 foot walls cut with a Zaugg PipeMonster.

SkyBound

Never hit a rail before? Want to hit a jump but not sure how? Located in the former Turbo Tubing area, the Skybound Park is home to Sugarloaf’s beginner park features. If you’re ready to take your first foray into park riding, check out our small rails, boxes, and jumps that will give you all the confidence you need to tackle some of our bigger features.
