Welcome to PEEPs!

PEEPs is our very own terrain park etiquette and education program.  Once you've gone through the presentation, you will be entitled to one swanky PEEPs pass...and yes it is FREE.  You maybe asking yourself...what does this mean?  What do I get with this pass?

At Sugarloaf we take great pride in our Terrain Parks.  Park users that know how to use our park features only help our mission for more FUN.  Knowing your park etiquette and being educated about terrain parks will always give you a better terrain park experience!  Everyone who completes our online program and redeems their voucher will be put into a drawing to win a 4 night vacation at Big Sky's Huntley lodge & 4 days of skiing/riding on 3,812 acres for themselves and 3 friends!!

All you have to do is get educated by clicking on the PEEPs logo above and then follow the directions leading you through our program.  At the end you will get a voucher with a serial number that you will need in order to get your PEEPs pass.  Simply print out that voucher and take it to the Guest Services desk in the Base Lodge between the hours of 8am and 4pm any day of the week to get your pass.

Have fun out there!!

Smart Style

The Freestyle Terrain Safety Initiative, "Smart Style", created by The National Ski Areas Association educates both skiers and riders about the proper use and progression of terrain parks at mountain resorts. the "Smart Style" message along with existing safety messages; will help to heighten the sense of education and awareness about the proper use of terrain parks in a way that is not hard to deliver, or for that matter to digest.

The more people become involved to help spread the word, the better!

There are four main messages that are associated with Smart Style.

  • MAKE A PLAN
Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
  • LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP
Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
  • EASY STYLE IT
Start small and work your way up.
  • RESPECT GETS RESPECT
From the lift line through the park.
