Seth Wescott
This is Seth Wescott. He’s kind of a big deal. He’s an eight time X-Games Medalist, World Snowboardcross Champion, 11-year US Snowboarding Team veteran, and he won the first ever Snowboardcross Olypmic Gold Medal in 2006. He even holds 2 Guinness World Records.
Seth grew up riding right here at Sugarloaf, competed for CVA, conquered the world, and he still calls the mountain home. If you’re up here enough, chances are you’ll run into him in the lift line or grabbing a brew at Java Joes.
He honed his chops in the parks and pipes here at Sugarloaf, and now Seth is taking an active role in the future of the Sugarloaf freeride scene. This offseason he helped design Sidewinder, our new snowboardcross course, and played an important role in the rebuild of the PipeDreams Superipe.
As he continues to wow the snowboard world with titles and first descents, Seth’s home and heart are here at the Loaf. And we can be sure that with Seth’s input, Sugarloaf’s terrain park scene will be better than ever.
