Today's Update
July 28, 2010
COURSE NEWS:
All in all, July has been a pretty spectacular month here at the Sugarloaf Golf Club, and course regulars all seem to agree that the course has never been in better shape. Jeff Seavey, winner of the State of Maine Championships here at Sugarloaf, told the Bangor Daily News that he's been playing the course since the mid 90s and has "never seen it this good." Clearly, it's a great time for a round at Sugarloaf. Reserve your tee-time now and see what all of the buzz is about.
RATES, PACKAGE, SPECIALS:
This season marks the 25th year on the Sugarloaf Golf Course, and in honor of that anniversary we've improved our greens fees and membership rates for the 2010 season. Join us on August 8th as we celebrate our silver anniversary with the Silver Swing Golf Outing.
OFF THE COURSE:
It has been an incredible summer off of the course as well, and it's only getting better thanks to our brand new Zip Line course and our new scenic lift rides. Nearly 200 people enjoyed lift rides last weekend, and our zip lines are going up and will be open to the public on August 7.
Sugarloaf Guide Bonnie Holding has enjoyed a busy season of Sugarloaf Guided Adventures so far, and recently she was joined by Bill Green of WCSH 6 and was featured on Bill Green's Maine.
Bonnie was also recently honored by LL Bean as one of their Outdoor Heroes. Bonnie was one of only six people in the entire nation to earn the honor. Learn more about our Guided Adventures here, and come meet Bonnie for yourself to see why her accolades are so well-deserved.
