Tubing

The on-mountain Tubing hill offers lighted, lift-services tubing runs perfect for the whole family. Located on the Birches next to the Base Lodge, Tubing is easily accessible and a terrific apres activity.


Ice Skating

Head down to the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center and lace up your skates and get ready for some fun on ice. Enjoy skating with friends and family on our new lighted, NHL-sized outdoor rink.  


Cross Country Skiing

At the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center our cross country skiing trails offer a great variety of treks through the Maine woods. With over 90km of groomed trail loops, skiers will enjoy a variety of terrain from beginner trails located near the Lodge to plenty of challenging terrain for both classic and skate skiing.


Snowshoeing

From an expansive landscape that stretches across snow-laden forests of pine and birch, to wide open fields that touch the base of Sugarloaf, experience nature at your own pace. This low impact, alternative sport opens unlimited access to the great outdoors.


Fireworks

Who doesn't love fireworks in the middle of winter? Don't miss the spectacular shows scheduled throughout the season provided by the experts at RS Fireworks. The best location to watch the show in on the Beach in front of the Base Lodge.


Sugarloaf Family Entertainment Series

The Sugarloaf Family Entertainment Series has a long history of bringing exciting and engaging family friendly entertainment to the mountain.


Snowmobiling

Enjoy hundreds of miles of beautiful, groomed trails throughout the Sugarloaf region. Spectacular views and breathtaking landscapes are yours to explore. Guided trips and equipment rentals available through Flagstaff Rentals, Inc. in nearby Stratton.


Worship Service

On-mountain interdenominational worship service is held every Sunday at 9am. Services are conducted by Revs. Pam and Earle Morse at the Richard Bell Chapel. Downhill services and special Sunrise services also scheduled throughout the ski season.

Cinema

The Narrow Gauge Cinemas are located in Farmington and offer multi theaters showing the latest blockbusters. The Lakeside Theater in the nearby village of Rangeley offers weekly showings of movies you can choose from. A great activity for the evenings!

Maine Huts and Trails

The second hut in the exciting new Maine Huts and Trails project is now open, and it's right in Sugarloaf's backyard. Come check out both the Flagstaff Hut and the Poplar Stream Falls hut and be a part of the groundbreaking new venture!

Antigravity Complex

Come experience this monstrous 20,000 square foot facility, boasting Maine's largest indoor skate bowl, aggressive street style skate park, indoor climbing wall, basketball court, weight room, trampolines and more.

Fitness & Recreation

Sugarloaf Sports and Fitness Center is your place to relax, play, excercise and have fun. You can get a great workout, jump in one of our raquetball courts, warm up before heading out for the slopes, or relax with a massage! We offer haircuts, manicures, in addition to many other services.
