Cinema

The Narrow Gauge Cinemas are located in Farmington and offer multi theaters showing the latest blockbusters. The Lakeside Theater in the nearby village of Rangeley offers weekly showings of movies you can choose from. A great activity for the evenings!

Worship Service

On-mountain interdenominational worship service is held every Sunday at 9am. Services are conducted by Revs. Pam and Earle Morse at the Richard Bell Chapel. Downhill services and special Sunrise services also scheduled throughout the ski season.

Sugarloaf Guided Adventures

Maine Huts and Trails

The first hut in the exciting new Maine Huts and Trails project is now open, and it's right in Sugarloaf's backyard. Come check out the Poplar Stream Falls hut and be a part of the groundbreaking new venture!

Mountain Biking

Whether you're looking for for a leisurely ride along the Carrabassett River, or challenging single-track, the Sugarloaf area is filled with trails and endless opportunities for mountain bikers of every ability.

Antigravity Complex

Come experience this monstrous 20,000 square foot facility, boasting Maine's largest indoor skate bowl, agressive street style skate park, indoor climbing wall, basketball court, weight room, trampolines and more.

Outdoor Adventure Camp

Kids explore Sugarloaf's natural environment with the Outdoor Adventure Camp, July 7-Aug 15. Activities include swimming, tennis, golf, climbing, archery, fly fishing, games, arts and crafts, hiking, mountain biking, and more!

Fly Fishing

Renowned throughout the country, the waters of Maine's western mountains feature some of the finest fly fishing in the world. Whether you're an experienced angler or you've never held a rod, Sugarloaf has a program just for you.

Pontoon Boat Tours

Enjoy a scenic and informative tour of the one of a kind Flagstaff Lake from the comfort and convenience of a pontoon boat.

Driving Range

Don't have time for a full round? The Sugarloaf Golf Club features a spectacular driving range with beautiful views of the Bigelow Mountains. Buckets are just $5, available in the ProShop.

Fitness & Recreation

Sugarloaf Sports and Fitness Center is your place to relax, play, excercise and have fun. You can get a great workout, jump in one of our raquetball courts, warm up before heading out for the slopes, or relax with a massage! We offer haircuts, manicures, in addition to many other services.

Hiking

With multiple 4,000 foot peaks and countless maintained trails, including the Appalachain Trail and the new Maine Huts and Trails network, opportunites abound for even the most avid hiker. Whether you looking for an easy day hike or an extended overnight trip, you can access it all from right here at Sugarloaf.

Tennis Courts and Camps

Tennis courts are located on-mountain and are easily accessible from both the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel and the Sugarloaf Inn. Sugarloaf also offers several Tennis Camps throughout the summer for adults and juniors, with the pros from Maines Pines Racquet and Fitness, as well as private one-on-one instruction.

Swimming

On a hot summer day, there's nothing more refreshing than a dip in a cool, secluded swimming hole. The Sugarloaf area offers lots of options for swimming, from lakeshore beaches to swimming pools to icy cool mountain streams.

Scenic Plane Rides
